YOUR DATA & PERMISSIONS

We believe you should know exactly why the app asks for access. Each permission below exists for one specific feature:

• Location — used to place your posts on the global Infection Map, show how far your content spreads, and surface nearby posts, hosts and businesses. If you decline, map-based and nearby features are limited.
• Camera and Photos — so you can capture or choose images and videos to share in posts, on your profile, and in private chats.
• Microphone — so you can record voice notes in chat and capture audio for your video posts.
• Notifications — so we can alert you to new messages, friend requests, and when your posts trigger a city breach.
• Account and profile details — your email, name, username, avatar, bio, profession and hobbies are used to create and secure your account, identify you to other users, and power matchmaking suggestions.

Your data is stored securely with Supabase, push notifications are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging, and offline synchronisation is handled by PowerSync. Advertising is served by Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising data to display and measure ads. Full details, including your rights, are in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal data.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account inside the app.
